Ten SWAT police officers held their wedding ceremony in a special but romantic method in Shaoxing, a city in east China's Zhejiang Province, on January 10, a day which spells the same as China's emergency call 110.
While 10 brides were taken by rickshaw to the training ground of the detachment of Shaoxing Public Security Bureau, some SWAT team members stopped them.
"We are the SWAT team in Shaoxing. Please stop for inspection!" the staff ordered.
Suddenly, further members descended down from the 4th floor of the building on ropes and proposed to their brides on one knee. Some controlled the UAVs to send roses to their girlfriends.
When the brides came to realize what happened, they were moved to tears by their grooms' extravagant arrangements.
"As we are extremely busy with our daily work, we have had no opportunity to show them how we train," said a SWAT team member Zhang Haijie. "To coincide with our wedding ceremony, the head of our branch gave them such a special opportunity."
The SWAT police officers said that they had delayed their wedding ceremony because of their tense schedule. On such a special day, they got married together in a way that few will ever forget.
