If you want to know where you are, it's a good idea to ask a police officer, especially if you are a tourist who can't find their way.

One Russian man managed to get lost in Yuchen city in East China's Shandong Province during his trip in China on a limited budget. He was travelling alone and couldn't communicate in either Chinese or English. However, assistance was at hand. The young man was helped on his way by a police officer from the local public security department.

The officer had to download a Russian-Chinese translation app via his mobile phone before he could provide any help to the Russian national. On the same day, in Northeast China's Jilin Province, a Russian girl who also didn't speak any Chinese, got lost on the highway during her visit to China.

Both tourists have now arrived safely at their destinations thanks to the help of the local police in Shandong and Jilin during the Spring Festival travel period.
